ReBarCamp SD will make its debut in the Gaslamp District of Downtown San Diego.

Which Way to BarcampThis 16 block city center is packed with hundreds of restaurants, shops, bars and hotels.   With all the excitement, it’s important to come in with a plan.

  1. Directions to Stingaree
    • Follow this link to a Google Map with directions to Stingaree — 454 6th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101
    • The Gaslamp was built on a grid with Lettered Streets heading east/west and Numbered Avenues heading north/south.
    • Stingaree is on the corner of 6th Avenue and Island
  2. Parking Options
    • While meter parking may be tempting, they max out at 2 hours.
    • The best option is to park in one of the many nearby lots.  Click on the graphic map above to view a colorful take on your parking options.  The closest lots are highlighted in yellow.
    • Most day lots cost just $10 if you are out by midnight.
  3. Don’t be Late for Registration
    • Registration starts at 8:00 — don’t be late!
    • We will begin at 9:00 sharp!
  4. Come Prepared and Ready to Participate

    • There is no dress code for Bar Camp.  Come as you are; be relaxed and comfortable.
    • Unlike most conventions, Bar Camp is governed by the Campers.  You choose what break out sessions to attend and what to take from the event.
    • We don’t have any prescripted notes for you — because the scripts have yet to be written.  That said, you may want to bring a notebook/pen or mini recorder to capture some of the great ideas that will be floating around.
    • Pack business cards – you never know who you may meet!  To my fellow iPhone users, I recommend downloading the Bump Application.  It’s my favorite way ever to share contact information without having to write anything down or keep track of small pieces of paper.
  5. Make a Night of it!
    • Once we have exhausted ourselves of social media break outs, it’s upstairs to the Roof Top Bar for an After Party!
    • This year’s party is sponsored by NAR and it is the perfect place to continue conversations and make new connections.
    • There are so many fabulous restaurants in the Gaslamp.  Keep the evening going by having our Personal Concierge hook you up with dinner reservations.
